O almeno il Captain , sulla punta meridionale della Sicilia, lo è.
È ormai una tradizione decennale di famiglia la settimana che si trascorre ogni anno alla Porto Palo di Capo Passero, Siracusa.
Immersed in a typical Mediterranean vegetation - fragrant pines, miles of plantations Pachino cherry tomatoes, lots and lots of clay, sand, silence - run by an eccentric family of Florence, the camp stands in front of the famous Island of the Currents , a small island with a lighthouse and sludge benefits (say), which symbolically divides the Ionian Sea from the Mediterranean. It seems to be a favorite retreat from shooting left Catania on the run from the hot and crowded beaches of the province of Etna.
deserted beaches, crystal clear water, wind, Turkish baths, showers with salt water and lots of salads tomatoes, mozzarella and oregano: Captain nothing better than doing nothing to relax and enjoy the healthy life of a camp. To get lots of sun, wind listen to the silence interrupted by some cicada, stretch long swims in familial relationships, and enjoy a clear milky way in the cold empty nights.
It goes back to Sicily in the best way. Five months in Syria, perhaps too far: the ' ammore takes every possible thought.
But you also think of the future ... and we start again in September. Change of direction: to stop Musafir, inshallah, three years in Naples, to study international relations. But still it's all da definire.
Nel frattempo l’estate avanza serena e felice sotto il sole fresco di una Sicilia mai tanto bella.
